In collaboration with Medtronic, we are investigating a novel method of performing lumbar spinal fusion with the hope of decreasing discomfort - allowing for faster recovery - as compared with traditional lumbar spine surgery. This research clinical trial is approved by and under the guidance of the FDA and involves specially selected spine surgeons from across the country.
We use leading-edge technology like the Gamma Knife®, which allows us to treat a brain tumor in less than two hours; Laser Interstitial Thermal Therapy (LITT), which destroys tumor tissue with minimal pain and scarring; and Robotic Stereotactic Assistance (ROSA®), a GPS system for the brain that we deploy for the treatment of epilepsy.
