Cerebral Aneurysm
A cerebral, or brain, aneurysm is a bulge caused by a loss of muscle tissue in the artery wall. About 90 percent of aneurysms are small, cause no symptoms and do not rupture.
Best in Care
The AdventHealth Neuroscience Institute is a state-of-the art facility for adults and children affected by cerebral aneurysm. We specialize in minimally invasive treatments that use advanced technologies. The Institute is one of the few medical centers in the country to offer interventional neuroradiology – a new procedure that enables our neurosurgeons to reach aneurysms in highly sensitive areas. Recovery times are also quicker with minimally invasive surgeries, because no incision is made.
