Murtaza Syed, MD, is double-board certified in psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry. Before joining the Center for Behavioral Health, he spent 15-plus years as an on-staff psychiatrist in hospitals and community health centers, primarily in Michigan. A graduate of the esteemed Sind Medical College at the University of Karachi in Pakistan, Dr. Syed completed his residency training at West Virginia University School of Medicine in Charleston before undertaking a prestigious fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC.
